but wait! there's more

hahahahahaha! That's what happens when you don't blog often. I totally just accidently posted the following post on Hyrum's super-intellectual-only-say-smart-researched-political-things-why-did-you-invite-your-silly-little-sister-on-this-prestigious-discussion-network-thing. (Yes, I do believe that is the official title. So now all the nice men that are debating the condition of the Cambodian government can also contemplate why a little girl may or may not feel secure writing on her own blog.

ok, I'll admit, if stuff this funny happens on blogs often, it's worth it

I just read and enjoyed your blogs. I will come to your parties anytime! And those guys over on Hyrum's political blog get so darn smart and serious I think they have a major need for a little pink once in awhile. Thanks for sacrificing your pride for the benefit of all. Do you recognize this quote? "...too sober and solemn fer yore own good....you need a foolish girl around to jolt the corners of yore mouths into a grin once in a while."

oh my gosh Miriam I did the SAME thing a few weeks ago - I wrote a nice long posty titled "The Weirdest Pregnancy Craving" (where I shared mom's choc cake w/ pickles story and a few others..) and posted it and realized it was on Hyrum's political blog right above a big philosophical rant about socialism and the need for gov't fiscal responsibility... why are we so funny and why do we always do the same dumb funny things??! I'm so happy you started blogging again! (sorry my comments are almost as long as my texts..)

I'm kind of new at this computer thing, so I still don't know all the rules. Can you respond to other people's comments on blogs? Or are you supposed to limit your comments to the original blog subject? And what is the polite length for a blog comment? If I get long-winded will my name get blocked? And if you talk too long on the computer is it called long-winded or long-fingered? Anyway, at the risk of breaking every single possible rule I just listed, and perhaps others I never thought/heard of, Ruth that quote is from a book which Miriam and I have both read and which I recommend called Across Five Aprils(pretend that's underlined, I don't know how.) It's about the Civil War and Miriam didn't recognize the quote either.
